How can new members register for ESI membership?
To register as a new ESI member, take the following actions:
First, complete the Sign-Up procedure, then log in to the ESI Member Dashboard. Click on "Register New Members" after selecting your membership type and filling out the application. Once your payment has been approved, you will be able to download your ESI ID card and membership certificate.
Already an ESI Member?
If you are already an ESI member but visiting the updated website for the first time, complete the Sign-Up process and log in. Once logged in, click on 'Update Profile'. If you have an ESI Number, enter it; if not, leave the field blank. ESI officials will verify your details, and after verification, you will be able to download your ESI ID card and Membership Certificate.
What are the advantages of publishing my research work in ESI Journals?
Publishing research in peer-reviewed journals of ESI offers several advantages, including increased visibility, career advancement, professional recognition, opportunities for collaboration, and contributions to the field.
The Indian Journal of Entomology is listed in Clarivate Analytics/Web of Science Master list, UGC, and NAAS. Articles published in this journal are selectively abstracted/indexed in sources such as Zoological Record, CAB Abstracts, CrossRef, Agricola, Google Scholar, CNKI Scholar, Indian Science, and the Indian Citation Index. Additionally, it is indexed in the Electronic Magazine library (Max Planck Institute), EBSCOhost global library database, and is UGC approved.
The journal title has been accepted by the Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB) for inclusion in Scopus since January 2021.

First, log in or sign up on the platform and update your profile. Next, choose "Journal Payment," enter the sum in USD (Dollar), and complete the payment process. Note: An automatic conversion from USD to INR (Indian Rupees) will occur. Make sure your credit or debit card is enabled for international payments before proceeding.

To apply for the ESI 2024 Awards, follow these steps:
- Log In or Sign Up: Start by logging in or creating an account on the platform. Make sure your profile is up-to-date.
- Access the Award Form: Go to the ESI Awards Application Form Card on the platform, select the award you want to apply for, and download the Award Application Criteria document to review instructions.
- Download & Complete the Form: Download the Award Application Form as a Word file and fill it out.
- Submit Your Application:
- Click the Apply button on the form.
- Write a brief description (250 words) about your achievements in the text box provided.
- Upload the completed application form along with any required documents in PDF format.
